Enza's 1st Day of School

I started back at work on Monday which means that Enza had her first day of school.  Luckily Esther (Rocco and Lucca's) teacher is still at the center and is also going to be Enza's teacher.  This makes it a lot easier knowing who is taking care of her.  Esther so sweet and nurturing, she is great with the babies.   Enza had a great first day, Gino and I dropped her off and she was playing on the ground and smiling and talking to the toys  She drank her bottles great and slept well.  I am visiting/feeding her once a day so I am able to see her and see how she is doing.  I love that my office is right across the street from the center!

2 Months Old!!

Enza is 2 months old today!!  Time is flying by way too fast! She had her 2 month appointment today.  She is right on track for her development, smiling like crazy, cooing and she is now batting and grabbing toys on her monkey mat.  She weighs 11 lbs. 13 oz (70%), is 23 inches long (80%) and her head circumference is 39 centimeters (80%).  SO funny that he is so much bigger than the boys ever were at her age!!

She didn't like the vaccinations at all, she had to have one oral vaccination and 2 shots!  She gagged for the oral vaccination and then cried for one of the shots...a LOT!  Poor Enza!

Enza has torticollis so she needs to see a specialist to see if she may need to have a helmet like Rocco did.  Once we meet with them we may also need to consider physical therapy to help strengthen the neck muscle on her right.

I took Rocco to his first movie today, Finding Nemo 3D.  He was really excited to go and talked about it all morning until we got there.  About 1 hour into the movie Rocco asked me to go home a few times.  He said he just wanted to, so we left.  He said he liked the movie but he just wanted to leave.  HA!  I think he would have stayed if it were Toy Story or Cars!  We will try again soon!

Enza started talking last week, it's adorable!!  She is getting so good at the baby babble!!

We went to Dunkin Donuts for coffee and Rocco asked if we could go inside for donuts.

Then we went home and made some purple slim!  Their hands were stained purple for a few days, HA!

Enza's 1 month old

Enza was one month old on August 26th.  She is smiling already, starting to play with her activity mat and toys that are hanging.  She has been yelling too which is pretty cute, she is starting to communicate that way. She rolled over from her belly to her back yesterday when she was elevated on her activity mat.  Probably just a fluke but it was cute!

We brought Enza to her 1 month checkup today.  She is doing great and getting so big already.  We met with Faith the Nurse Practitioner and she said she is strong.  She was bearing weight on her legs really well.

Enza weighed 10 lbs, 4 oz (73%), was 21.5 inches long (71%) and her head circumference was 37.5. (no % given but it's probably in the 90's)  She had her second Hep B shot and screamed for a minute.  She didn't like that!  Back in a month for her 2 month checkup!
