Lucca's 1 month checkup

Lucca had his 1 month checkup today. He is 7lbs 4oz (3rd %), 20 inches long (4th%), and his head circumference is 36 3/4 cm (17th %). He got his 2nd hepatitis B vaccine which he didn't like very much! They are recommending that we get an ultrasound on his hips, there is a slight clicking on the left side that they want to check out. This is typical with babies that are breach as they are in the "frog position" in utero. The worst case for treatment would be that Lucca would need to wear a brace for a short time.

Rocco was so good at the appt, he spent his time reading the Thomas the train book, "A Crack in the Track" and a Barbie book. He said "barbie" and "pretty" (I told him barbie was pretty). He also colored a nice picture. When Rocco was ready to go he gave me all the books and said "all done" and went to the door. It was funny because we weren't ready to go yet. It's getting easier and easier to take both of them out, I guess practice makes perfect!
